Post 3: MY DREAM JOB
Hello, before going to study I had worked for seven years as a secretary in
an office and another seven years at home, making clothes for girls that I
later sold online.
What I liked least about working in the office was keeping the hours, also
at that time, my son was very young and the time at work did not allow me to be
with him, as I wanted. This is why I changed jobs, but I didn't like it either
because, even though I was at home with my son, I was always tired of
self-exploitation.
When my son was older, I thought about going back to school, although I
didn't think it was journalism. At that time, I was thinking of studying
history near my house, at Usach. But since I did well on the test, I was able
to enter journalism at this university.
Although at first I was not very convinced, over the years I have begun to
value this career precisely because of how versatile its exercise can be.
I imagine myself doing classes, writing in the media about human rights or
cinema, as well as doing workshops in schools and neighborhoods.
Of course, I would love journalism to allow me to travel.
Thanks.

Versatility is one of the interesting things about journalism, you can perform in many areas.
